Kenyans have been playing a crucial role in the growing Film industry. We have a good number of Kenyan actors and actresses who have been featured in international movies.

Let’s look at our very own actors and actresses who are celebrated in the Film industry.

Abel Mutua

Abel began his acting career long ago when he used to be featured in local Kenyan shows, among them the famous Tahidi high, which is continuously aired on Citizen TV.

Back in the day, the show was so popular that it paved the way for Abel Mutua to show his abilities to the general public, amongst many actors.

He took the chance to make Kenyans believe in him and his abilities. He dreamed of being in the Film industry, and of course, he succeeded.

Not so long ago, Abel and his fellow actor Phil produced a movie dubbed ‘The Click Bang,’ marking a huge milestone in their acting career.

Phillip Karanja

Karanja is the lovely husband to the queen of adverts and actress Catherine Kamau, broadly known as Cate Actress.

Phillip is as well a director and as well an actor who was featured in the famous Kenyan local telenovela Tahidi High.
