Musalia Mudavadi, the leader of the Amani National Congress (ANC), has targeted Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate of Azimio La Umoja, by spreading false information. As the 2018 poll approaches, Mudavadi has openly slammed Raila Odinga’s bid to capture more votes in the Mt Kenya region.

Musalia Mudavadi, on the other hand, has attacked Raila Odinga, claiming that he should not expect anything from the Mount Kenya Region. Mount Kenya Region, according to Musalia, belongs to Deputy President William Ruto, who is running for President of Kenya.

“Raila should not expect anything from Mt Kenya, It is DP Ruto’s Backyard,” ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi stated.

According to Details, Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential candidate William Ruto has received excellent news from Musalia Mudavadi, who claims that the Mount Kenya Region is Ruto’s backyard. Musalia Mudavadi stated in his speech that William Ruto has a significant percentage of support from the Mt Kenya region in his presidency.

Mudavadi was a close supporter of Raila Odinga before defecting to DP William Ruto’s camp in order to help Ruto win the presidency.

Raila Odinga, the Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate, has suffered another severe setback as he prepares to visit the broader western Kenya region ahead of the August general election.

This comes after Didmus Barasa, a Kimilili member of Parliament, leveled severe allegations against him and his bid to become Kenya’s next president following the August general election.

According to Hon. Didmus Barasa, a vocal member of Parliament, civil servants are entitled to permanent and pensionable terms and are not allowed to serve after the age of 60, so what about Raila Odinga, who is 85 years old? The outspoken legislator was perplexed.

He went on to say that Raila Odinga is too old to run this country and should thus step down from active politics.
