President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake brother Hon Raila Odinga have got more bad news in their efforts to reintegrate Wiper Leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka into the Azimio-One Kenya Coalition. According to a report by KTN News on Sunday night, Kalonzo has directly warned Uhuru, Raila, through his close allies, that he is unwilling to accept the Prime CS job because she has trust issues with Raila and is unsure whether the promise would be kept.

When asked what he plans to do now that he has been accused of rejecting the Prime Ministership, Kalonzo said in a separate interview that he intends to run for President and that his major goal is to defeat DP William Ruto, whom he accuses of being part of the reason Kenyans are suffering. Kalonzo has declared plans to run anti-Ruto campaigns across the country.

Martha Karua, Azimio La Umoja’s presidential running mate, has defended Raila Odinga’s ‘Baba’ moniker, claiming he fully merits it. The former Prime Minister is currently referred to primarily by the tag, which even President Uhuru Kenyatta has been observed using when addressing him.

Karua claims that he is deserving of the title, noting that it was bestowed upon him not only because he is a father but also because of the numerous other things he has overseen. She noted Raila’s role in the second liberation push on Sunday, calling him a remarkable guy who Kenyans should be happy to have with them.

Raila’s willingness to make sacrifices for Kenyans is one among the reasons, she claims, that he agreed to shake President Uhuru Kenyatta’s hand after their election fight in 2017. While accompanying Raila on a campaign tour of the county, she spoke in Narok. She described his qualifications as exactly what Kenyans require at the helm.
