A number of big names have been shortlisted in the list of potential principal secretaries. Some of them are technocrats associated with William Ruto’s succes while some of them are loyalists.

There are election poll losers and aldo others who served under the Uhuru administration. Below are the listed big names angling for PS positions.

1.Nixon Korir

The former Langata lawmaker, a Ruto loyalist is one of the big names listed. He lost to Jalango in the August election.

2.Chris Wamalwa

He ran for the Trans Nzoia governor job and lost to DAP Kenya’s George Natembeya.

3.Samuel Tunai

He ran for Narok senate seat and lost to ODM’s Ledama Ole Kina. He was shortlisted too.

4.Rehema Jaldesa

She is the former Isiolo woman representative and lost in the last election.

5.Ahmed Kolosh

He is the former Wajir West lawmaker.

6.Former EACC boss Halakhe Waqo

He vied for the Isiolo gubernatorial seat on an ODM ticket and lost. He has been shortlistef too.

7.Belio Kipsang

A PS in Uhuru’s administration, he served in the ministry of education.

8.Edward Kisiangani

He has been part of Ruto’s communication team since the campaign period.

9.Chebukati’s wife

The IEBC chair’s spouse has also been shortlisted.
