A dramatic scene ensued after a Jubilee allied blogger and revered lawyer Wahome Thuku was rudely roughed and harassed during the prayer session at Statehouse that was hosted by the head of state, drawing Bishops, Reverends, Pastors and church leaders from 21 denominations from Mt Kenya region.

Wahome engaged in a bitter exchange of words with the statehouse security when he attempted to capture pictures from the event with his phone.

“We have enough cameras here, we don’t need you to take pictures” the statehouse strategist hit at Wahome when he had comfortably positioned to capture the photos from the colourful event with his phone.

“We will eject you out of this place if you repeat doing it again. Do you hear me?” The seemingly bitter Uhuru’s statehouse handler fumed at Wahome.

“Do you know me? Ask this one (pointing at the person next to him). You will come to know me later. I am Wahome” Wahome responded back.

Wahome Thuku visits Uganda to verify Sakaja’s degree

Wahome has been a longtime Uhuru’s online strategist, especially when debarking the saga revolving around Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja’s questionable academic credentials.

Barely a month ago, Wahome traveled to Team University, Uganda on a private mission to ascertain if Sakaja’s degree certificate is valid or not.

He has been the main critic of Sakaja’s degree certificate, claiming that the senator obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management (External) falsely.

Sakaja’s fate is set to be heard and determined today, Friday by the High Court. IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati defied Commission for University Education (CUE) order to revoke Sakaja’s clearance certificate, citing that it is only through a court order that he can revoke the clearance certificate.
