Akal E.H Simba, a vocal Kenyan on X (formerly Twitter), has narrated the threats and frustrations he faced after exposing the Kenyan government’s hurried award of 500 acres of mining land to Devki Group’s boss, Narendra Raval.
In the alleged deal, Simba exposed that the govt of Kenya via the PS for Mining handed over a title deed of 500-acre land to the Devki boss, which again is a violation of the constitution that stipulates one should only be given a licence to do any business.
After realizing that he was cornered, PS Mining Elijah Mwangi swiftly made a 180 degrees turn now claiming that it was the govt of Taita Taveta that issued the Title deed to DevKi group boss Narendra Raval.
According to Simba, the land was handed over without public notice or consultations with the local community, raising serious concerns about the transparency and fairness of the process.

Simba’s ordeal began shortly after he posted about the controversial land deal. His X account was suddenly locked, and he received an unfamiliar international call.
Even more troubling, he noticed that his phone began forwarding calls without his knowledge, and there was an attempt to hack his WhatsApp account. A third party had requested his verification code, all within a span of just 12 hours.
Despite these intimidation tactics, Simba managed to recover his X account after 12 hours. He posted the phone numbers involved in the suspicious activities, vowing not to be silenced by these threats. His posts highlighted the risks he took by speaking out and the extent to which powerful entities might go to suppress dissent.
Simba also shared how PS Mining Kenya had tried to downplay the issue, stating that the county government was responsible for allocating the land to Devki Group.

However, Simba pointed out that there was no public announcement, no gazette notice, and no engagement with the local community, making the entire process questionable.
These revelations have sparked widespread outrage among Kenyans, with many questioning the government’s motives and the secrecy surrounding the land award. As tensions rise, the incident has added fuel to the fire ahead of the planned ‘Nane Nane’ demonstrations, with citizens demanding accountability, transparency, and respect for due process from their leaders.
