Raila Issues Conditions Of Calling Off Mass Actions

Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga has now announced that he is ready to go slow on his mass action which he officially kicked off on Thursday.

The protests and demonstrations are expected to culminate in a huge match in Nairobi on 20th, all being planned against President William Ruto.

He now says that he is ready to temporarily abandon all this, but on one condition; if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) servers are opened and their content made public.

The leader says that he knows what he is doing when he says that the servers be opened and can swear that it will vindicate his rigging claims.

“We are not mad people. We can scientifically prove what we are saying. When some say Ruto should continue because the Supreme Court upheld his win, we cannot leave him alone,” the former Prime Minister said in Mombasa yesterday.

On the Supreme Court matter, Raila has suggested that there were some games played and the court was influenced into ruling in Ruto’s favour.

He said that he knows what exactly happened and can expose that too, while alleging that the ruling was not made in the right way and was unfair to him.

“Even the Supreme Court had a problem. We know what happened there. We can reveal what happened there. Let us not be told the court approved, so it is okay,” added the leader.

He has also demanded inclusion in the reconstitution of the IEBC, which he says Ruto is keen on singlehandedly restock to enable him install friendly figures who can help with his alleged 2027 rigging plans.

Ruto, however, has not yet declared interest in a second term in office.
