Akothee couldn’t hide her happiness after hearing that her best friend and comedian Jalang’o had won the Lang’ata Member of Parliament seat. Immediately after hearing the good news, Akothee rushed to her Facebook account and posted a sweet congratulatory message for Jalang’o.
Akothee began, “My promoter who pays me millions for his Luo festival and treats me like an artist and a brand that is. Jalang’o pesa Luo festival mitina kabisa.”
The mother of five adorable kids among the boys and girls explained the kind of relationship she has with Jalang’o, who is now the Member of Parliament elect of the Lang’ata constituency. Another praised the ex-KISS 100 FM show host saying that he is a great professional who loves doing his work.
She wrote, “I have always wanted to have a man who wakes up at 5.00 am and goes to bed late. A man who does things his way knows no inheritance or favors.”
The Kenyan secular artist excited fans by saying that Jalang’o deserves any good thing that comes his way because of his hard work and resilience.
“A man who has himself against the world. The go-getter, the winner, and the fighter. The vision bearer,” she expressed her undying admiration for Jalang’o.
Talking about his campaigns, Akothee said that she used to follow keenly how Jalang’o was doing them.
“I looked at Jalang’o during campaigns, and I could see the weight on his shoulders aaah osiepnani. Youths should learn from you,” she concluded.
