With less than 4 days remaining Tuesday election, Democratic Action Party – Kenya candidate for Busia gubernatorial contest, who doubles as incumbent Busia deputy governor Moses Mulomi, has today, Thursday, 4th jumped Raila Odinga‘s Azimio – One Kenya Ship to join Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

Mulomi termed Ruto’s candidature as sure bet for presidency and assured to drum support for Kenya Kwanza candidate Sakwa John Bunyasi who is vying on Mudavadi’s Amani National Congress (ANC) party ticket.

Mulomi dropped his quest in seeking the county’s top seat and averred to support Sakwa John Bunyasi of ANC in Tuesday’s battle.

Sakwa John Bunyasi is facing formidable opponent, Paul Otuoma of ODM, who received an overwhelming endorsement from Azimio – One Kenya coalition.

Last week, Wiper party candidate for Mombasa gubernatorial seat and former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko bolted out of the race after the supreme court upheld his impeachment case that barred him from holding any public office.

Sonko shifted from Kalonzo’s Wiper party and joined Ruto’s UDA as he endorsed hustler nation candidate in Mombasa battle, former senator Hassan Omar.

The former Nairobi boss accused Chief Justice Martha Koome for allegedly compromising with his case to block him from contesting for Mombasa seat.

He had received an injunction order by high court to allow the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to clear him, awaiting the supreme court ruling that thrashed his bid of seeking to overturn the impeachment case.

Although the second in command has received backlash especially from Uhuru’s circle, but he has remained vigilant to face off the Azimio candidate Raila Odinga.
