According to the latest poll from Mwelekeo Insights, Mburu Kahangara has taken the lead in the Lari Constituency Member of Parliament race with 23.3 percent support.

Joseph Karichu is close behind at 21.7 percent, and Josephine Miano follows with 19.1 percent.

The rest of the field shows Kiarie Kenneth at 17.5 percent, Jonah Mburu at 12.8 percent, and Nyutu Wamwere at 5.6 percent. These figures from Mwelekeo Insights point to a competitive race where the top candidates remain within reach of one another as political activity grows in the area.

Race Remains Tight in Lari

The poll results make it clear that no candidate has built a wide gap yet.

Mburu Kahangara sits at the front, but the difference between him and Joseph Karichu is small enough that a few weeks of strong campaigning could shift the order.

Josephine Miano’s 19.1 percent also keeps her firmly in the conversation, showing that support is spread across several names rather than locked on one person.

People in Lari are paying attention to everyday concerns such as better roads, reliable water, market access for farmers, and opportunities for young people and much more.

Candidates who speak directly to these needs tend to hold or gain ground.

The percentages suggest that voters are still listening and comparing options carefully. Kiarie Kenneth’s 17.5 percent places him in a solid mid-position, while Jonah Mburu and Nyutu Wamwere will need to work harder if they hope to move higher.

This kind of close contest is common in constituencies where local history and personal connections matter. Residents often know the aspirants or their families, so trust builds slowly through meetings, visits, and clear promises. The Mwelekeo Insights poll captures that early stage well.

It shows a field that is active and undecided enough to keep everyone watching. As more people hear the candidates speak, the numbers could change, but for now the race stays open and interesting.

Campaign teams will likely focus on door-to-door work and community events in the coming months. Small gains in support can make a real difference when the gaps are this narrow. The current standings give each of the leading names a chance to grow, while those further down still have room to climb if they connect better with voters.

These two polls, together with the Lari Constituency results, show how Mwelekeo Insights keeps sharing clear numbers that help people follow the shifting support for candidates in different races as the country moves toward the next election.
