After so many years of avoiding DP Ruto’s political bedroom due to his political animosity with his troubled deputy William Ruto, President Uhuru Kenyatta is anticipated to tour the northern section of the Rift Valley region next week.

This is the same place where the vocal Oscar Sudi comes from. According to The Star, on June 29, the Head of State will oversee the passing out parade at Moi Barracks Recruits Training College in Eldoret and then visit several projects that were started when he was in power.

Actually, Moi Barracks land basically occupies large part of Kapseret which is Oscar Sudi’s constituency. MP Oscar Sudi is among the people who have been firing personal shots at Uhuru Kenyatta over their differences with DP Ruto.

Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Stephen Kihara confirmed the visit and noted that some of the projects scheduled for commissioning, such as the Eldoret Southern Bypass which is nearly finished nearly finished. Speaking over the upcoming plan by Uhuru Kenyatta, the commissioner said this;

The project is almost complete and just a few final touches are being done before commissioning which is set to be done soon,” he said.

Among the other things Uhuru is expected to do, Uhuru will be in Soy for the commissioning of a new hospital constructed near Moi Barracks.
