Gospel singer Everlyn Wanjiru’s mother has shed tears of joy after her daughter gifted her a piece of land. According to Everlyn Wanjiru, she decided to gift her mum the piece of land, considering the fact that she has seen her mother being harassed by landlords and loaners. She grew up seeing their house being locked up due to lack of rent, and this provoked her to work hard to make her mum own a place. Her dream is slowly coming true after she bought her a piece of land. She thanked her husband for helping he purchase the piece of land for her mum. Talking about the struggles she went through while growing up, Evelyn Wanjiru said that,
“I have seen you struggling with us, even when we lost our dad. I have seen loaning people coming to harass you. I have seen the landlord harassing you and locking our door, they even placed a wooden block on the door, so that we don’t get in. Agunda and I have bought you a new plot.”
She then took to her instagram page and posted a video of her mum and her thanking God for this great achievement.
She captioned, “EMOTIONAL SURPRISE! God has enabled us to be a blessing to my mother by gifting her something she has always dreamt of. Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and mother.
