Embakasi East Constituency legislator Babu Owino has exposed the alleged forgeries in his competitor, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Francis Mureithi’s form four result slip.

While sharing the purported payslip on social media, Babu Owino faulted Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for clearing Mureithi despite forging his result slip for Embakasi East parliamentary contest.

Babu Owino alleged that the result slip had been erroneously doctored with the subjects’ grades differing from bracket indications, exposing the possibility of forging the form four certificate.

“This is too dangerous! Have a look at this result for my unworthy opponent Francis Mureithi Wambugu. He is so thick that he couldn’t even do proper forgery. How did IEBC clear him? English D+ but writing MINUS in brackets, Biology C+ but writing PLAIN in brackets, History and Government B+ but writing PLAIN in brackets” Babu Owino stated.

Other Candidates eyeing the same seat include Michael Oganda Okumu, Stephen Maina Waruingi, Mich Mzito and Joash Omwenga.

In the latest poll that was surveyed by Mizani Africa, Mureithi floored Babu Owino by commanding 49.8 percent while Babu garnered 40.4 percent.

Michael Oganda Okumu (5.9%), Stephen Maina Waruingi (1.7%), Mich Mzito (1.3%) and Joash Omwenga (0.9%).
