Amakove Wala of Wonderlust Diaries has been accused of gaslighting and bullying Tonnee Ndungu, following a minor road incident. The allegations were made by a vocal blogger, who claims to be a close friend of Ndungu.
Wala had initially claimed that Ndungu hit her vehicle and fled the scene. She alleged that Ndungu became arrogant and disappeared. However, the blogger, who knows Ndungu personally, reached out to him to hear his side of the story.
Ndungu, a TikToker, responded with a video providing evidence of his actions following the accident. He took Wala’s children home himself, towed the damaged car to Wala’s mechanic, and paid for the repairs. Furthermore, he offered to fuel another car for five days until the damaged car was ready.
The blogger criticized Wala and others who run Facebook pages for gaslighting people and rallying an army of ignorant followers to their cause. They compared Wala’s actions to those of Atty Owiso of Buyer Beware, who allegedly fled to the UK after causing similar harm.

The blogger expressed disappointment in Wala, whom they had previously thought to be decent. They suggested that Wala’s actions were motivated by Ndungu’s rejection of her advances, as he mentioned having a significant other after Wala declared herself available.
This incident serves as a reminder of the power and potential misuse of social media platforms, and the importance of hearing both sides of a story before passing judgment.
