Popular singer and entrepreneur, Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee has warned ladies to avoid trapping white men with pregnancy. According to Akothee, many Kenyan ladies see white men as tickets to a rich life but that is not the case.
She explained that not all white men are rich. She warned ladies who usually try to trap white men by getting pregnant for them to be cautious. She revealed that many ladies had been dumped and left to raise their children alone because of this.
” Let me warn you ladies don’ t get married to white men. Do it at your own risk. Kitakuramba my friend. You know most ladies think that by getting pregnant or getting married to white men their life will change. They will start getting soft life treatment but that is far from the truth. Not all white men are rich. Utawachwa mataani and you will cry alone. ” Akothee stated.
The video which was posted on Edgar Obare’ s page ignited mixed reactions. Some agreed with Akothee while some were of the opinion that the artist had also dated white men in the past and she should not discourage those who wanted to.
This comes shortly after Akothee officially confirmed that she was dating Nelly Oaks. During a live session on TikTok the two were seen spending quality time together.
