Nairobi youth are in a celebratory mood after gubernatorial aspirant Agnes Kagure promised to support their push for the establishment of business incubation centers and knowledge banks in their various wards across the county.
Through her verified social media handles, Agnes Kagure Tweeted that she is in full support of the youth’s push and that she would lend her support to make it happen. The same message was also relayed on her Facebook page where she posted about her support to the young people’s push for business success and linkages. Her post read;
Young entrepreneurs in our wards are pushing for the establishment of ward-level business incubation centers and digital knowledge banks to guide them and other entrepreneurs on the ‘hows’ of excelling in today’s markets and finding ways for more collaborations and linkages with local and international partners. I concur, and will support!
Agnes Kagure, who boats of an illustrious business career, has made the youth and women empowerment central to her campaign agenda and has a demonstrated track record to show of being a dependable all to the youth, as well as women.
In the Nairobi gubernatorial contest pitting her against Polycarp Igathe and Johnson Sakaja, Agnes Kagure is seen as a deciding factor given the huge support base of the youth and women that she commands across Nairobi’s various wards and constituencies.
Several analysts have even predicted a surprise win for her independent candidature given the large number of disenfranchised youth and women who decry both the worsening economy and the shambolic party primaries that affected a majority of them.
Would you vote for Agnes Kagure if elections were held today?
