Mathira legislator and Kenya Kwanza presidential running mate candidate Rigathi Gachagua has been treated to crude embarrassment in deputy president William Ruto’s perceived hotbed in Narok, Rift Valley province which is perceived to be William Ruto’s stronghold.
While flanked with a score of Kenya Kwanza allied lawmakers including Kandara MP Alice Wahome, Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi among other Ruto’s affiliates, Kenya Kwanza brigade was heckled in Maili Nne where hundreds of angry and charged youths booed Gachagua forcing local legislators to intervene and install calmness.
According to the viral video seen by this writer, the uncontrollable lot intercepted Gachagua’s speech with chants, creating a noisy and razzmatazz campaign scene.
Sources have interpreted the heckling as a response to Gachagua’s utterances and outbursts that intended to demean fringe parties under Kenya Kwanza Alliance ahead of August election.
People fleeing from a political event
Gachagua called upon electorates to vote in six piece pattern in favour of DP Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA), thus demeaning other parties in Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Deputy President William Ruto is on the other pitching tents in Narok to market and sell agenda of bottom-up as well as popularizing his presidential bid.
Azimio – One Kenya presidential hopeful Raila Odinga has flocked DP Ruto’s Uasin Gishu turf on vote hunting mission. Raila used the rally to cast direct attacks at Deputy President William Ruto for allegedly delaying the county’s democracy by leading the KANU youths in 1992 to install former president Daniel Moi’s regime.
Raila is said to have received a far fetched boost after Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) struck Wiper Democratic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s name from the presidential race.

With Azimio – One Kenya coalition as the only remaining alternative, Kalonzo might be forced o rejoin the coalition and accept the Chief Cabinet Minister position assigned to him by ODM boss.
