A man from Kakamega has surprised many people after claiming that he is God in human form. His strange announcement has left residents in shock and confusion. The 38-year-old man said he came to Earth exactly 38 years ago with a mission to save the world. His statement has drawn mixed reactions across the area, especially because it comes only two days after a woman from Busia claimed to be the Virgin Mary.

These back-to-back religious claims have sparked concern and debate among Kenyans.

The Kakamega man appeared in public wearing a long white robe and carrying a Bible. He moved around the village preaching and boldly told people, “I am the true God. I came in human form to bring salvation. The world has refused to listen, but I will not stop my mission.” His words drew crowds, with many villagers following him out of curiosity.

Some laughed at him and dismissed his claims as madness. Others stayed quiet and listened carefully. Surprisingly, a few villagers even said they believe him. One elderly woman said she had seen signs and had dreams that made her think the man might be telling the truth.

However, not everyone is convinced. A local church leader said it was strange and worrying. He asked for the man to be examined by medical professionals to find out if he has any mental health problems.

“This could be a person who needs help. It’s not normal for someone to claim they are God,” the church leader said.

The statement as alleged by K24.

His concern was echoed by other religious leaders, who warned the public to be careful. They urged people not to be misled by individuals making such serious claims. They also reminded people to stick to the teachings of the Bible and to use wisdom when hearing such messages.

Psychologists have also shared their views, saying that sometimes people say unusual things because of stress, trauma, or mental illness. They advised that such people should be treated with care and taken for medical checkups. If they are found to have mental health challenges, they should be given proper treatment and support.

The man’s announcement follows closely after a woman in Busia shocked her community by claiming to be the Virgin Mary. She said she was sent by God to warn people about the coming judgment day. Her statement caused panic in the area and police had to be called to control the situation.

These two strange events happening in the same week have left many people wondering what is going on and whether something deeper is happening in society.
