Bold ODM Party leader Hon. Raila Odinga has finally taken the bull by its horns regarding the sudden death of CDF General Francis Ogolla, who perished in a plane crash a few days ago.

During a two-minute speech at the ongoing memorial service in Lang’ata, where he appeared to align with the majority of Kenyans in acknowledging that Francis Ogolla’s death caught many off guard, the opposition leader emphasized the need for thorough investigations to dispel misleading rumors.

In his speech, the Opposition leader expressed confidence that every stone would be left unturned during the probe, while urging Kenyans to remain calm during the three-month period.

Equally, the Opposition chief urged President William Ruto to pay attention to military affairs, alleging that there could be an issue because Francis Ogolla isn’t the first to die in a plane crash. Raila also urged the KDF fraternity to maintain “peace of mind and refrain from being influenced by misleading speculation.

We have come to bid farewell to General Francis Ogolla, a true nationalist. Through his actions, he demonstrated his readiness to serve and die on behalf of this country. Long live the General!,” Raila Odinga said.

During Deputy Rigathi Gachagu’s speech, the second in command asked President Dr. William Ruto to ensure that the late CDF General Francis Ogolla is honored equally by doubling the KDF’s war equipment and upgrading it, now that he died in the line of duty.

“I offer my condolences to the President because I know he held General Ogolla in high regard. We were with President Ruto at Sagana Lodge when we received the tragic news. His death deeply affected the president emotionally. It’s tragic that he died while addressing internal problems,” DP Rigathi Gachagua said.
