Tanzanian Bongo artist Omari Faraji Nyembo known by his stage name Ommy Dimpoz has been over the moon for the past few hours. This is after he got a special invite to attend the Manchester United match against Liverpool on Monday at Old Trafford.
As per a post that the artist made, he seems to be a die-hard fan of Manchester United. He was happy to have a personal session with the Manchester United players.
Dimpoz said he was the first Tanzanian to be invited by the Manchester United Football Club to watch their game. He was genuinely boastful!
He happily wrote on his Instagram page, “I am the first Tanzanian to be invited officially by Manchester United Football Club to watch their game. Call me a dog if someone can prove me otherwise.”
Ommy posted photos and videos he had recorded with the players on his social media pages. The singer was spotted with Cristiano Ronaldo, Luke Shaw, Donny Van De Beek, Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Fred Rodrigues, and the newly added player Tyrell Malacia.
The photos and the moments caused blended reactions on Twitter and Instagram, with many Manchester United fans praising him for the new milestone.
The wise singer posted some of his photos wearing a Tanzanian football Club jersey to market his home county’s club internationally.
“I also managed to take photos with almost all the Manchester United players,” the overjoyed Ommy Dimpoz remarked.
The Manchester United fan also hinted to his fans that the Portuguese Footballer Bruno Fernandes would be visiting Zanzibar soon for a holiday.
The award-winning Tanzanian singer wrote, “Namsaidia mam kuitangaza Tanzania. Mkiniona na @B_Fernandes8 Zanzibar kuweni wapole.”
Tanzanian rapper and a Member of Parliament Mwana FA in April 2019 also got a chance to meet the famous football coach Jose Mourinho at the airport where he was going to watch a game.
