Despite the ongoing election petition challenging his win, Deputy President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza group have reportedly started making plans for the future with reports emerging on the individuals who are set to occupy crucial positions in his government.
A report by a local daily has revealed that Ruto will be rewarding his loyal foot soldiers in the event that the Supreme Court fails to nullify his win.
Ruto has reportedly settled on Kimani Ichungwa as the leader of the majority in Parliament. This means that Former majority leader Aden Duale will land another position in Parliament.
Ichungwa was elected on a UDA Ticket. The report also revealed that Ruto has settled on David Ndii as his finance cabinet secretary.

Ndii has played a very significant role in drafting the Bottom Up economic model that Ruto is Planning to use when he takes office.
Deputy President Elect Rigathi Gachagua is expected to take on other roles apart from overseeing government business.
