Names of Billionaires Financing Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Campaigns Unveiled

Deputy President William Ruto’s financial muscle for presidential campaigns has proven to be rigid and intact despite spending millions of money for four years immediately after Uhuru and Raila’s 2018 truce.

Ruto is said to be receiving financial boost from various billionaires who hopefully wishes him to clinch to power after After August contest.

 

According to daily nation, Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto is surrounded by five powerful billionaires namely David Lang’at, a Mombasa based founder of DL group, Joshua Chepkwony of Jamii telecommunication, former Machakos senator Jonhson Muthama who is a gemstone dealer, Mt Kenya Tv founder Peter Ngirichi and Simon Mburu of Landmark freight services.

It also revealed that Mathira legislator and Kenya Kwanza running mate nominee Rigathi Gachagua has deployed billions of money to fund Ruto’s presidential campaigns for August battle.

Azimio – One Kenya Coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga is on the other hand enjoying the support of Mt Kenya Foundation billionaire elites, president Uhuru Kenyatta among other Azimio associates in readiness to face off Ruto in forthcoming election.

Raila Odinga settled on Narc Kenya party boss Martha Karua as his running mate after evaluating on the report submitted by the nondescript committee of Azimio – One Kenya coalition advisory panel led by former minister Noah Wekesa (chairman), Elizabeth Mayo (secretary) and Paul Mwangi (legal advisor).

Karua downplayed Wiper party chief Kalonzo Musyoka, Kakamega county governor Wickliffe Oparanya, Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho, Murang’a Women rep Sabina Chege, Kitui governor Charity Ngilu, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya among other candidates to secure the principal assistant coveted slot.
