Fresh details have come out about the sad and mysterious death of Susan Njoki Kamengere, a nurse based in Nairobi and CEO of Toto Touch Kenya. Her family is now speaking up after she died under troubling circumstances.

They claim she was forcefully injected by unknown people who came to her house pretending to be sent by a doctor. According to the family, on July 15, four people went to Susan’s house in Kileleshwa.

They told her that a doctor named Dr. Onyancha had sent them and that she needed an injection and to be taken to the hospital. Susan’s sister said that Susan had spoken to her during that moment and sounded confused about why this was happening.

The family says Susan was healthy and there was no medical emergency.

The people who came allegedly injected Susan twice while still in her house, without her agreeing to it. They then took her to Chiromo Hospital where they allegedly gave her two more injections, again without explaining what they were for.

While at the hospital, her phone was taken from her, and she was reportedly forced to delete a Facebook post. The family also says they were denied access to see her.

They were told they needed permission from her husband, Allois Ngure. A note was reportedly handed to the security guard at her residence, stating that Allois had approved her forced admission due to illness.

The family does not agree with this and insists that Susan was doing fine and managing her depression with her prescribed medication.

Susan’s sister said she had been on treatment and was not in any danger. She also questioned why someone would take her to a hospital when she was already taking her medicine as prescribed.

Unfortunately, the next news the family received was that Susan had passed away. They were shocked and left with many questions.

A report was later filed at Kabete Police Station, and now the Directorate of Criminal Investigations is looking into the matter.

There are many questions that still don’t have answers. Who were the people who took Susan?

Why did they inject her multiple times? What were the drugs they used? And could her death have been avoided? The family is hoping for justice and clarity on what really happened to Susan.
