His entry into politics and more so being named Raila’s running mate in the forth coming august elections is giving Ruto a sleepless night. If Karua’s Azimio gospel sounds sweet to the people Mt Kenya then Ruto’s popularity in the region is going to be depolarized. If that the case then William Ruto should prepare to loose Millions of votes from Mt Kenya giving Raila an early lead
Kenyans have also elicited reactions on Karua’s rally today at Kirinyaga Country after bringing business to a standstill, citing that however much she intensifies campaigns for Raila Odinga in Mt Kenya they will still lose terribly. They have also argued that Karua has no support in Mt Kenya region alleging that even in 2013 when she contested for the top seat she failed terribly by garnering only 43,000 votes, hence nothing she will add on Raila’s bucket of votes.
This come after several leaders and UDA supporters were arrested amid Karua’s visit to the region. Gov Ann Waiguru also alleged that no intimidation, not event Karua’s entry into politics more so after being chosen as Raila’s running mate will change the fact that Mt Kenya is still UDA zone.
