Mwelekeo Insights has released the final results of its Political Parties Youth Leaders Popularity Survey. This national digital poll measured public support for young leaders from different political parties in Kenya.

The survey focused on how popular these youth figures are among voters as the country looks toward future elections.

Clear Leader Emerges with Strong Support

Chibeka Matara of KANU came out on top with 43.4 percent of the vote. This result shows strong backing and places him well ahead of the rest of the field. Nearly half of those who took part chose him as the most popular youth leader in the survey.

Strong Challenge from Second Place

Abbie Zuena of Linda Mwananchi followed closely with 32.9 percent. Her share of support is solid and shows she has a large group of supporters. The gap between first and second place is clear, yet both leaders hold significant portions of public preference.

Other Contenders Trail Behind

Angel Mbuthia of Jubilee secured 8.9 percent. Wanjiku Thiga of DCP received 7.4 percent. Julius Umoja of Wiper got 5.9 percent. These three candidates together account for just over one-fifth of the total support.

Further down the list, Kariuki Ngunjiri of UDA managed only 1.1 percent. John Ketorah of ODM received 0.4 percent. Their shares remain very small compared with the top two.

What the Percentages Show

The results highlight a concentrated race at the top. More than three-quarters of the support went to just two leaders. The remaining candidates share a much smaller portion of public preference.

This pattern suggests that voters currently favor a small number of youth figures from specific parties. KANU and Linda Mwananchi stand out clearly in this particular survey.
