Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) director of communication Hussein Mohammed is under fire after being filmed pushing “Mama Mboga” off the red carpet at Hall entrance of Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).

In what appears to be a good arrangement, William Ruto was accompanied by the Mama Mboga and Bodaboda rider to cast the image of a people’s person, and it made good visual attractions. However, as soon as the photo-moment for the Mama Mboga and Bodaboda rider was utilized, they were hurriedly pushed aside by Hussein Mohamed.

According to the video as seen by Mambo Mseto, Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto was flanked with a dozen of hustler nation allied gang including his spouse, Mama Rachel Ruto, Mama Mboga who was in the midst of the Kenya Kwanza brigade, was unceremoniously pushed off the red carpet by Ruto’s director of communication Hussein Mohammed to allow other principals to accompany the second in command to the hall.

Ruto was making entrance to the hall for presidential debate that he ought to have faced off Azimio – One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga for debate tier.

Kenya Kwanza affiliates present included; UDA running mate nominee Rigathi Gachagua, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya boss Moses Wetangula, Chama Cha Kazi party head Moses Kuria, Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader Alfred Mutua among others.

The first shift of the debate kicked off at around 5:30pm with The Roots Party presidential candidate George Luchiri Wajackoyah storming out from the scene, leaving Agano Party’s David Waihiga Mwaure debate alone.

Wajackoyah accused the consortium for demeaning his quest to secure the country’s top seat by dividing the debate into two sessions that was interpreted as portraying Agano and The Roots party candidates as fringe.

Wajackoyah demanded to share a podium with the other three candidates at the same time rather than tying him with Mwaure.

“I have just come here to confirm whether the other three candidates are present so that we kick off the debate. I can only debate with the three, not Waihiga Mwaure alone” he addressed the media as he walked out.

Raila also defied the debate profiling Ruto as a corrupt candidate with integrity deficit.
