A plane carrying 8 Azimio la Umoja Coalition politicians who were heading to Lodwar after finalizing their political rally in Kakuma has crashed in Kakuma airstrip.
According to eye witnesses, the plane was among the three fixed-wing Caravan plane which was in Raila’s convoy.
When the aircraft registration 5y- spz aircraft plane was in the runway planning to take off its rear tyre burst and it veered off the road.
Hower, Raila Odinga was not in the plane and all the occupants in the plane were confirmed not to have been injured in the incident.
Raila toured Turkana on Wednesday conducted rally in Morulem Turkana East, Kalemorok Turkana South,Kakuma Turkana West, and was scheduled to finalize in Lodwar.
