Kenyans should be using Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga’s stand on things to gauge their goodness or badness, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua says.
The DP claims that Raila has the habit of opposing good things, which is why he is now vehemently fighting the proposals in the Finance Bill.
He alleges that Raila is always in the opposite side when he knows something will benefit Kenyans, and they should use his opposition to the bill to conclude that it is something worth supporting.

“If you see Raila opposing something then know it is a good thing,” the immediate former Member of Parliament for Mathira Constituency said on Thursday in Nyeri.
He also rubbished claims that there are some Kenya Kwanza insiders opposed to the bill, claiming that they are all in support of the proposed changes.
“All the members of Kenya Kwanza are supporting the Finance Bill. It’s just this kitendawili man that is against the Bill,” added the Second in Command.

But his remarks come only days after Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah claimed that some Kenya Kwanza parliamentarians are secretly opposed to the bill.
He claimed that one even gave him money to move to court and challenge the same bill, after suing Ruto for including unconstitutional clauses in the bill.
Ruto has also been seen making remarks considered threats to those planning to oppose the same in the house, and recently proposed open voting so that he can see who will defy him and go against the bill.
Gachagua, while speaking in Kitui last week, assured the Kenya Kwanza side that the bill will sail through, claiming that Azimio has no numbers to stop it in the parliament.
