The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Tribunal concluded yesterday that it lacked the jurisdiction to reject Johnson Sakaja based on his dubious academic credentials. This means that in the Nairobi gubernatorial election, Senator Johnson Sakaja of the United Democratic Alliance Party will face Jubilee Party candidate Johnson Sakaja.

Local Media House Kenyan.co.ke ran an opinion survey to determine who is most likely to win the August Nairobi gubernatorial election if it were held today. Senator Johnson Sakaja is currently in the lead, with percentage popularity of 71 percent, according to an online survey.

Former Equity Holdings CEO Polycap Igathe is ranked second in the poll, with a popularity rating of 29%. This means Johnson Sakaja has the best chance of defeating Polycap Igathe of the Azimio la Umoja side. In order to be elected in August, the two have around two months to campaign.

According to the results of an Infortrak poll, Orange Electoral Development Party founder Raila Odinga would seize the lead with 52 percent of the vote, overtaking President-appointed William Ruto. With 29 percent awareness, William Ruto is ranked second within the rating. Kalonzo Musyoka, the founder of the Wiper Party, took the 1% vote test.

The total number of people who took part in the polls was 2400, as shown in the table below. Kate’s polls of public opinion are used to predict the likely outcomes of complex decisions. The present political race should continue until 2022.

Ruto beats Raila in presidential race

The ground has become very shaky as politicians continue showing dust to each other. Raila and his men have reasons to worry since DP Ruto’s men have become a real scare. While DP Ruto beats Raila from elsewhere, his men are also thrashing his opponents by a wide range sending them back to the drawing board. This means that Raila and his men might have to employ a different strategy in order to make it against Ruto and his squad.
