While Raila Odinga’s led faction Azimio – One Kenya is bracing to usher in Wiper Democratic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka today, Thursday, 2nd June, at Mukuru Kwa Njenga during a hailstorm rally in the area, blogger Dennis Itumbi has revealed damning information on their behind-the-scenes workings.
Dennis Itumbi has alleged that Azimio – One Kenya allied stalwarts warming to oust Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati in a perceived move to brew favourable pitch for electoral rigging.
“The Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau (HNIB) agents are following reports that the Azimio wing, powered by the deep state, is planning to go after IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati” said Itumbi.

Itumbi’s allegations follows another unconfirmed reports that Interior PS Karanja Kibicho, PS Maringa, Wilson Njega (Principal admin secretary of the president, Harambee House a National Lands Commissioner – who is a former Kibicho’s PA) among other Kirinyaga elites held a consultative meetings on 19th and 28th May, 2022 at Laikipia cottages, Nairobi to enlighten on Raila’s chances of winning the country’s seat.
According to Itumbi, the group expressed fear of DP Ruto’s grip and popularity especially in Mt Kenya, confirming the impossibilities of Raila defeating Kenya Kwanza in August contest. He alleged that PS Kibicho, Maringa and a host of PAS dismissed Raila’s decision to pick Martha Karua (female factor) for for running mate position.
They allegedly argued that Martha Karua has implicated no impact on Raila’s popularity in Uhuru’s backyard.
With there- entry of Kalonzo into Azimio – One Kenya, Raila-Karua ticket will receive a significant boost in terms of consolidating Ukambani votes into Azimio basket.
Kalonzo, who had defected to vie presidency after failing to secure running mate position in the coalition is set to rejoin Azimio – One Kenya officially today.
