Hon Martha Karua, Azimio La Umoja’s running mate, began her campaigning in Kiambu County today, where she was warmly welcomed by the citizens of Limuru Town. According to information published on social media sites, the entire town of Limuru was packed with people, forcing all businesses to close for the time being.
The NARC Kenya party leader Hon Martha Karua was overwhelmed by the warm response from the residents, according to news published on social media networks. She asked residents of Kiambu County to vote for Hon Raila Odinga, the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement, in the upcoming general election, which is scheduled for August this year.
Several leaders accompanied Hon Martha Karua, who agreed to support her in the upcoming general election. Among them are Hon Sabina Chege, Minister of Agriculture Hon Peter Munya, and Hon Raphael Tuju. Politicians must now preach peace to Kenyans in order to avoid chaos after or before election day.
This time around, Madam Martha Karua is not taking any chances. The Iron Lady is keeping DP Ruto up at night. She was elevated to be Raila’s running mate in The Azimio-One Kenya Alliance just a few days ago in the mountains. Things are becoming nasty for Kenya Kwanza now that Karua has proven that she can move large crowds without the support of his presidential advisors.
Karua was in Murang’a yesterday before heading to Kiambu on Saturday, where she has been greeted with heroism by the locals.
Kiambu County is the most populous county in Kenya, with about 2.5 million registered voters. The county is also regarded as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s backyard because he has already decided who will succeed him. Karua’s influence in the region is growing, resulting in more votes for the Azimio camp every day.
