Kimani Ichung’wah Exposes Plan to Make Ruto One-Term President

Ichung'wah accuses DP Gachagua of running a campaign to make William Ruto a one-term president so that he can take over in 2027.

Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah, the Kikuyu Member of parliament who doubles as the National Assembly Majority leader has this evening (June 14) triggered political sparks.

This is after the lawmaker has come out guns blazing to sensationally claim that Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua and his cronies have hatched a plan to make William Ruto a one-term President.

According to the report by by Citizen TV during its 9pm news bulletins, the Majority leader didn’t mince his words when he claimed that latest National Intelligence Service (NIS) reports have linked DP Gachagua to the plot that is aimed at causing instability in the KK administration and making it impossible to deliver on the 2022 promises.

According to Kimani Ichung’wah, DP. Gachagua has already assembled a team of renown political figures in the Mt Kenya region and Rift valley who have been running up and down trying to seek sympathy card as well as disrupting and sabotaging Pres William Ruto govt.

The development comes barely hours after, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has come out to defend his recent political stance that has put him at loggerheads with a section of leaders in the Kenya Kwanza coalition as well as Central region.

Gachagua, who spoke on Friday when he commissioned new classrooms at Highway Manyatta Primary School in Ruai, clarified that his sudden shift of political beliefs revolving around the Mt. Kenya kingship and the ‘one man, one vote, one shilling’ narrative are not subjects of his own making, but rather a reflection of the needs of his people.

He underscored that he was only acting as a mouthpiece for the people, adding that his current political stance and newfound unpopular beliefs are not his own but the shadow voices of the people he represents.
