Kenya Kwanza leaders drawn from Nairobi have come out guns blazing to slam Nairobi county governor Hon Johnson Sakaja over what they term a gross violation of the Constitution, massive looting in City Hall, and Sakaja’s inability to govern the Nairobi City county. The leaders also disowned Sakaja saying he is not the governor they campaigned for in 2022.
Via a viral clip seen by Mambo Mseto, the Kenya Kwanza (KK) leaders led by Dagoretti South MP Hon John Kiarie said it is sickening that Johnson Sakaja instead of waking up from his deep sleep to deliver on the 2022 pre-election promises is now busy bribing the MCAS, running public relations activities in the county.
Additionally, the leaders castigated Johnson Sakaja over the latest revelations by Auditor General Nancy Gathungu that billions of money have been spent without a plan in the past financial year. Mr Dimples also faced the accusations of running Nairobi City county like a kiosk, where he and his allies have developed a habit of withdrawing money from the public accounts without following the laid down procedures.
“What you see is a representation of the leadership in Nairobi and especially those from Kenya Kwanza… It is our observation, an observation that is the view of the majority of Nairobians that Nairibi could be facing its worst leadership from City Hall.
“Nairobi City is drowning in the murky lakes of free-flowing sewerage, estates buried in mountains of garbage, taps whistling to the tunes of dryness as storm waters flood our homes and businesses. The skies above, the city skyline are being pictured by precariously, unplanned constructed towers that know no limits because the city sets no limits to any developer who wishes to bribe the approvers at City Hall…,” John Kiarie said during a heated media presser.
The issue of Gov Sakaja snubbing Senate sittings prominently featured during the presser with leaders threatening to take legal action against the governor.
