Willy Mutunga Warns Ruto Of Danger Gachagua Is Exposing Him To

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s behaviour might soon cause a big problem in the country, former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has warned.

Gachagua is known for his controversial remarks, which on most occassions are against the rival Azimio La Umoja coalition and it’s leadership.

He has repeatedly made remarks seen as aimed at discriminating Azimio leaders and their supporters for failing to support President William Ruto last year.

Mutunga now warns that these remarks might soon result in a revolution in the country, once Kenyans get fed up with his declarations and pronouncements.

He says that with these remarks appearing to suggest that only a selected number of tribes will benefit, Kenyans might soon stand up against Ruto, his deputy and the Kenya Kwanza administration.

But Gachagua has been defended by Uasin Gishu Woman Representative and close Ruto ally Gladys Boss, who says that he is only affirming a “simple fact” that loyalty needs to be rewarded.

Gachagua recently claimed that the government is like an enterprise, where those with the most shares benefit the most as the others wait to scavenge on the remains.

“This government is a company that has shares. There are owners who have the majority of shares, and those with just a few, while others do not have any. You invested in this government and you must reap. You sowed, tilled, put manure and irrigated, and now it is time to reap,” he said.

The remark has angered the opposition brigade, with its leader Raila Odinga noting that this is something that has to be resisted completely.

“What he (the DP) said is not a joke. It is exactly what they are doing. Look at their cabinet, how many Kambas do we have there? How many Luos?” an agitated Raila said during a rally.
