A fresh scandal is rocking the political scene, centering around Wanja Nyarari, a woman whose extravagant lifestyle and alleged ties to Deputy President Kithure Kindiki have sparked public outrage.
Wanja, a divorced mother of three (according to blogger Maverick Aoko), was previously married in Gatundu to Harrison Kinyanjui and gained media recognition as a host on Kameme TV’s Nyarari, earning her the nickname Wanja Nyarari.
However, it is not her past that has tongues wagging but her present.

Rumors of an affair with DP Kindiki, gained traction after she posted a photo aboard a private jet. Observers quickly pointed out that the jet’s blue seats matched those in a jet used by the Deputy President during his recent visit to Namibia.
To further compound suspicions, Wanja later shared posts revealing she had also been in Namibia at the time Kindiki was visiting the country.
What set off an even bigger storm was her own admission that she had been questioned by Namibian authorities allegedly for transporting large sums of money in a safe.

A video circulating online appears to show her flaunting stacks of dollars, reinforcing public concerns about the source of her wealth.
The controversy, however, extends beyond personal relationships.
Wanja’s ostentatious lifestyle private jet travels, high-end spending, and bold claims such as discussing with President Ruto about making German language compulsory in Kenyan schools has angered citizens struggling with economic hardships.
While students wait for HELB disbursements, healthcare workers face neglect, and insecurity escalates in regions like Kerio, Wanja appears to enjoy unchecked privileges.

It remains to be seen if Deputy President Kithure Kindiki or the Office of The Deputy President will respond to the development. By the time of going to the press, nobody had reacted to claims by blogger Aoko.
The real question remains, Who is Wanja in this administration?
