Gatundu South Member of Parliament and Kiambu gubernatorial hopeful Moses Kuria has claimed that the head of state president Uhuru Kenyatta paid Wiper party boss Kalonzo Musyoka ksh3B to rejoin Azimio – One Kenya.
According to Kuria, Kalonzo set the record of becoming the second to receive colossal amount from the coalition after Raila Odinga’s alleged 2007 deal with former president Mwai Kibaki, where he (Raila) reportedly walked way with ksh10B from the deal.
“Transfer fee….Ksh 3 Billion. Its only second to the Ksh 10 Billion that Jakom got to cool down the country after 2017. Well done SKM. Hata wewe sio mtoto wa paka” said Kuria
Kalonzo had earlier on decamped from Azimio – One Kenya to vie for presidency on Wiper party ticket.
He walked out of Azimio – One Kenya coalition after Raila named Martha Karua as his running mate.
However, Raila appointed Kalonzo as the Chief Cabinet Minister in Azimio government.
Defiant Kalonzo jumped out of th ship and unveiled Narok senator aspirant Andrew Sunkuli as his principal assistant for presidential contest.
If Uhuru will successfully woo Kalonzo to revert back to Azimio – One Kenya coalition, then Raila might secure Ukambani votes into Azimio – One Kenya vote basket.
