Two more suspects wanted in connection with the murder of Nathan Masai Wasama in Cheptais have surrendered to the police as detectives continue with investigations into the case.
Robert Kimutai Psisei, also known as Robert Miti, surrendered at Cheptais Police Station on Thursday morning. He was arrested, escorted and later booked at Sirisia Police Station, where he remains in police custody.
Another suspect, Brian Chongin Kaos, also surrendered to the police. Chongin presented himself at Chwele Police Station, where officers took him into custody as investigations into the murder continued.
The latest developments bring the number of suspects in police custody to several as detectives work to establish what led to the death of Wasama and identify all those who may have been involved in the killing.
Other suspects were arrested yesterday as the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) intensified its efforts to investigate the murder. The arrests and surrender of the suspects are expected to help detectives piece together the events surrounding the killing.
