Kenyans have been left in shock following reports that Turkana Senator James Lomenen mysteriously lost Ksh 20 million.
The whole saga has sparked heated debates, especially since it allegedly happened on the same night former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was impeached.
What’s even more shocking is that a woman identified as Trizar Theo Wariong, who claims to be the senator’s wife, has come out with explosive allegations.

According to her, five police officers stormed her home in Ngundu, Ruai, on October 18 at around 10:00 PM.
They reportedly ransacked her bedroom and made away with $15,000 (about Ksh 1.9 million) and Ksh 200,000 in cash.
But that’s not all. Wariong says the officers didn’t just take the money—they allegedly abducted her.
She was forced into a silver Toyota Allion, and instead of being taken to Njathaini Police Station as they claimed, she was driven around Kamulu, Ruai, and Mwiki for hours.
She alleges they kept pressuring her to reveal the whereabouts of the missing millions.

The big question now is: where did the money go? Was this an inside job?
A planned heist? Or something even bigger? Kenyans online are demanding answers, with many wondering how a public servant had such a huge amount in cash.
Investigations are ongoing, but all eyes are now on Senator Lomenen. Where did the money come from, and how did it vanish just like that?
The night of October 18, 2023, was a politically charged one in Kenya, marked by the impeachment of then-Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

The disappearance of Ksh 20 million belonging to a sitting senator on the same night has fueled speculation about possible political motivations behind the incident.
Gachagua claimed that senators were bribed with tens of millions each to support his impeachment.
Additionally, he alleged that MPs received bribes for the same purpose, suggesting that the process was influenced by financial incentives to remove him from office.
