Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala’s running mate for Kakamega gubernatorial race Beatrice Inyangala has finally addressed speculations about her alleged plans to bolt out from the contest.

Speaking at San Francisco during a chit chat with senator Malala, Beatrice Inyangala refuted claims of stepping down in Kenya Kwanza gubernatorial ticket for Kakamega race.

“So governor (referring to Malala), I think we need to go back to the ground and proceed with our campaigns” she said.

Malala however tipped her about the ongoing speculations about her alleged plans to bow out of the race.

Beatrice Inyangala looked shocked and affirmed that she is still in the race to address the welfare of Kakamega locals as deputy governor on 9th August 2022.

“I have heard a lot of speculations that you are stepping down” Malala tipped her followed by a loud laughter.

“Me stepping down? When did I say that? I am firmly in the race to the end. I don’t have any intention of quitting the battle” she added

Malala also assure that he has garnered a lot of energy and resources to hit the ground with thunderous campaigns that will hopefully send their opponents into political oblivion.

“We want to tell our opponents that they should prepare for a big political fight. We are coming back to the ground with a lot of energy and resources and we shall ensure that we clinch to Kakamega gubernatorial seat come August 9th” he added.

Malala is set to face Azimio – One Kenya coalition candidate Fernandez Barasa (ODM) who settled on Lugari MP Ayub Savula as his running mate.
