Professor Kithure Kindiki has finally revealed how his plans to speak to deputy president William Ruto flooped despite making several attempts. Speaking In a live show at a leading media outlet in Kenya, he confirmed to have attempted making several calls to get notified on running mate selection but he could not pick.
However, at this moment, Kindiki realized that the deal was done. On the same note, the seasonal legal mind said that the DP had earlier also attempted to call him.
Notably, this might be the reason as to why Kindiki neglected to attend the official session of unveiling the running mate at Karen residence on Sunday. Issuing a defense on the same, the renowned Proffesor says that he had attended a church service because it was a Sabbath to him.
It is worth noting that Kindiki was at the runner’s up position after getting shortlisted in the 2 top most qualified individuals. He missed it by a whisker despite being commended by a huge section of the members of Parliament. Some information privy to the reliable source says that Gachagua became the most suitable after various considerations by the panel which was doing the deliberations. The Kenya kwanza alliance will now front a Ruto – Gachagua ticket in the elections slated August this year.
