UDA Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has expressed deep sadness following the death of Gengetone artist Shalkido, who died in a road accident along Thika Road.

The 27-year-old musician, known for his role in the popular Sailors Gang group, lost his life after a tragic motorcycle crash that left many Kenyans mourning.

Following the heartbreaking news, Karen Nyamu revealed that she had planned to surprise Shalkido with a motorbike gift before his untimely death.

The senator shared a video online showing two motorcycles covered in dust, explaining that one of them was meant for the late artist.

The bikes had been parked for some time, waiting for the right moment to be delivered.

Karen Nyamu had reportedly bought the motorbikes as part of her efforts to support young artists who were trying to rebuild their lives and careers.
