Saitabao ole Kanchory has come out strongly to defend his name while tearing apart the reputation of lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi.

In a long and detailed post on X, Kanchory described himself as a fearless lawyer with an untainted record and called out Ahmednasir for allegedly operating through fear, corruption, and impunity.

According to Kanchory, while he has served Kenya for over 20 years with only three recorded losses in hundreds of legal battles, Ahmednasir thrives on underhand tactics and connections with powerful individuals.

Kanchory insists he has never paid a bribe to win a case and has no fear of any judge or legal system, which is why he has remained respected across the country.

He reminded Ahmednasir that when he was just 30 years old, William Ruto approached him to be his personal lawyer, but he declined. Kanchory says that choice showed the kind of man he is someone who cannot be bought.

He also spoke proudly about his work in protecting the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem by winning a landmark case in the East African Court of Justice.

According to him, that was one of the biggest legal environmental victories in East Africa’s history. Beyond that, he says he has defended land rights for poor communities in Laikipia, Narok, and Kajiado without ever asking for payment. To him, that is the mark of a lawyer who works for the people, not for selfish gain.

But it’s the harsh words he used against Ahmednasir that drew the most attention. Kanchory accused him of being a man who lives in fear because of his past dealings.

He even described an encounter on a road near Isinya where Ahmednasir allegedly panicked at the sight of him, thinking something bad was about to happen.

He called Ahmednasir a child of impunity and suggested that the lawyer had made his name by bribing or intimidating judges to get favorable outcomes. He told him to stop pretending to represent the law while doing everything that goes against justice.

Kanchory also said he is currently handling important constitutional cases pro bono because he believes in resetting and rebuilding the country. He made it clear that he is not chasing money or fame but trying to help restore dignity in Kenya’s legal and political systems.

He ended by saying that Ahmednasir represents the corrupt, ugly past of Kenya, while he stands for a better, more just future.

He did not hold back. His post was not just a defense of his own record but a full-blown attack on a man he believes symbolizes everything wrong with Kenya’s legal and political space.

His sharp tone and detailed examples showed that he wanted to send a clear message. He is not afraid of powerful people, and he will not stay silent when people like Ahmednasir try to question his credentials. According to Kanchory, the truth is simple he is not a thief, and he will not be lectured by one.
