Former Bomet Governor and Chama Cha Mashina party leader Isaac Rutto’s mother, Mama Jane Tirop is dead.
Mama Jane Tirop died on Tuesday, 14th June, 2022, while undergoing treatment at Moi Teaching Referral Hospital in Eldoret.
Isaac Rutto has confirmed that the funeral arrangements are in due course and will be announced upon sorted.
“It is with grief and sadness that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother Mama Jane Tirop. Our mum went to be with the lord today; Tuesday, 14th June, 2022 as dawn while undergoing treatment at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret. We will communicate on the funeral arrangements in due course. May she rest in eternal peace”

Chama Cha Mashina secretary-general, Albert, delivered the condolence message to the bereaved family while announcing the passing on of Mama Jane Tirop.
“It is with the heaviness of heart that I communicate the passing on of Mama Jane Tirop, beloved Mama to Governor Isaac Rutto, Party leader of Chama Cha Mashina (CCM). Mama Jane Tirop went to be with the lord on Tuesday morning, 14th June, 2022 at MTRH Eldoret. On behalf of Chama Cha Mashina, I wish to convey the message of condolences to the family of our party leader during this hard moment” he said.
