Nairobi-based businesswoman and philanthropist Hon. Agnes Kagure has once again come out guns blazing to announce her admiration and congratulations to the Kenyan team in the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris, France, while calling upon the current and future leadership of the country to invest more in the youth, especially in sports.
In a message she posted on her Facebook page, Hon. Agnes Kagure openly admitted that there is no better feeling than seeing Kenyans competing and winning on the global stage, such as in the Olympics or the World Cup, among others.
She also mentioned that there are many things she has learned from the ongoing Olympic Games, from the organization, security, and structures that have been put in place.
“There’s no better feeling than the Kenyan feeling of competition, companionship, and victory!
“So much to learn from the Paris Olympics, and a lot to do as we nurture our youth’s talents for their own and our country’s posterity. Congrats to all who represented and supported Team Kenya. Nyinyi ni mashujaa,” Hon. Agnes Kagure wrote on her Facebook page.
That notwithstanding, Hon. Agnes Kagure’s love for sports, empowerment, and social programs has been growing day by day. She has been single-handedly running various programs that have benefited youth from Nairobi County and Kenya at large.]
For instance, Agnes Kagure has been sponsoring football tournaments that have helped youth discover their hidden talents. Some have joined popular teams in the country, while others have found opportunities beyond Kenya’s borders.
In the arena of politics, reports say Agnes Kagure has been giving her political opponents sleepless nights as the reality of being sent into political oblivion by 2027 becomes more apparent with each passing day. Kagure is said to have made significant inroads in Nairobi and is loved by many.
