Hunt for DP Ruto’s men is gradually getting messy as haters appear to be seeking trouble from his allies vying for the gubernatorial seats in major towns. This comes after what is said that they have now gone for Susan Kihika after the plot to stop Sakaja failed.

Senator Susan Kihika is now facing a major setback in her mission to ascend to one of the top Nakuru county seats. She may find trouble vying for the county’s governorship seat after a petition was filed seeking to block her gubernatorial bid.

This was done by a man called Joseph Kimani Njuguna who in his petition to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) wanted Susan Kihika’s gubernatorial bid terminated the reason being that she is not a Citizen of this country.

Kihika’s Kenyan citizenship petitioned

The source indicated that Njuguna claimed that Kihika allegedly renounced her Kenyan citizenship back in 2003 when she allegedly acquired citizenship for the United States of America.

Having lost her Kenya citizenship, the said Susan Wakahura Kihika was required under section 10 of the Citizenship and Immigration Act Cap 172 of the laws of Kenya to apply in the prescribed manner in order to regain citizenship of Kenya,” the petition stated.

Njuguna used Section 8(4) of the Citizenship and Immigration Act to find a trap for Susan Kihika. This constitutional act declares it offensive for a duo citizen deliberately refuses to disclose their other citizenship in the prescribed manners.

Njuguna said that because of this, Susan Kihika will have to be stopped from continuing to vie for the gubernatorial seat for Nakuru county since she didn’t follow the required steps for one to obtain legal and fare verification to proceed to the next level.

It is so disappointing to see how DP Ruto’s men are being harassed by the random lawyers who are just trying to find a way of killing their dreams.
