Mutahi Kagwe’s latest appointment as Agriculture Cabinet Secretary by President William Ruto has sparked plenty of talk among Kenyans.

The chatter isn’t just about his new role but also about the connections surrounding him, including Tell-em PR, a firm reportedly linked to him, and Novo Nordisk, a global livestock vaccine manufacturer.

The issue of tell-em pr firm was brought up by one of respected X influencers Eric Amerix when he asked Kenyans whether there is something they noted suspicious, with the screenshot he shared from Tell-em pr firm listing its clients.

“Mutahi Kagwe’s PR firm. Do you notice something? Refuse. Reject., wrote Amerix on X.

This isn’t the first time Tell-em PR’s name has come up. The company is known for working with big clients in healthcare and agriculture, including Novo Nordisk.

With a nationwide livestock vaccination drive already underway, some people are wondering if there’s more to Kagwe’s appointment than meets the eye.

The vaccination programme itself has raised questions.

Details about how it’s being carried out are hard to come by, leaving room for speculation.

On top of that, rumours have been flying around that billionaire Bill Gates might be funding the exercise.

These whispers, combined with the secrecy surrounding the rollout, have made many Kenyans uneasy.

Kagwe, who gained fame as Health CS during the COVID-19 pandemic, is no stranger to managing public health campaigns.

But now, people are questioning if his new role as Agriculture CS might benefit companies he’s connected to.

Could Tell-em PR or its clients play a part in this vaccination project?

Neither Kagwe nor Tell-em PR has addressed the growing concerns, and this silence is only fuelling the speculation.

Some believe Kagwe’s experience could be a big help in managing such programmes, while others think it’s all too convenient.

As the vaccination drive continues with little public involvement, many Kenyans are asking tough questions.

Was Kagwe’s appointment just good timing, or is there a bigger plan at play? Only time and perhaps more transparency will tell.
