Judith Nyangi and her running mate Mathew Malusi have officially been cleared to contest in the upcoming Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections.

Her running mate, Mathew Malusi, adds fresh energy to the team, focusing on empowering young players and promoting talent development at the grassroots level.

Together, they aim to restore transparency in the federation and build a system where footballers thrive from local leagues to the national level.

Their competition is formidable. Among other presidential aspirants is former football star McDonald Mariga, Hussein Mohammed of Extreme Sports, and Kakamega Homeboyz chairman Cleophas Shimanyula.

Former FKF president Sam Nyamweya and veteran Sammy “Kempes” Owino are also in the race. Despite the crowded field, Nyangi and Malusi are confident that their message will resonate with both players and fans.

If elected, the duo promises to restore FKF’s credibility, ensuring fair tendering processes, improved league management, and better player welfare. They also plan to streamline youth development programmes to nurture talent from the grassroots.

With their eyes firmly set on victory, Nyangi and Malusi are positioning themselves as the team to beat. Many believe they have what it takes to steer Kenyan football in the right direction and reclaim its lost glory.
