Lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna has publicly attacked civic educator Morara Kebaso, accusing him of deceit and opportunism.

In a scathing post on X (formerly Twitter), Miguna claimed that Kebaso had blocked him on the platform only to unblock him recently, which led to the lawyer accusing him of being a “conman.”

Miguna did not mince words as he detailed his grievances against Kebaso, stating, “I asked you politely to publish the number of the person who ‘donated’ the Kahawa Sukari property, but you have not, because you know that it would expose you.”

He continued by demanding the name of the person responsible for providing Kebaso’s KweKwe bodyguards, a notorious unit known for its controversial activities.

Further, Miguna alleged that Kebaso had orchestrated a public relations stunt and challenged him to reveal the identity of an alleged “uncle” and business partner of President William Ruto who reportedly addressed one of Kebaso’s press conferences.

Miguna, known for his blunt criticism, accused Kebaso of being driven by greed and self-interest rather than a genuine desire to contribute to the country’s political struggle.

He expressed disappointment in Kebaso’s focus on what he described as distractions, narcissism, and the pursuit of donations, rather than addressing substantive issues.

In his closing remarks, Miguna urged Kebaso to abandon what he described as “childishness” and embrace integrity, stating that Kenyans had seen through Kebaso’s supposed conmanship.

Miguna concluded by sarcastically wishing him luck in his pursuit of wealth through donations.

The public exchange has reignited debate over civic activism and the motivations behind certain public figures in Kenya’s political landscape.

That notwithstanding, Lawyer Morara Kebaso has been fighting claims of being a sponsored project from Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua with some claiming Kebaso is being used to divide the Gen Z movement.
