Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi has stirred up a storm on social media by calling for the impeachment of Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.
Havi shared his views on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, expressing his disappointment with Sakaja’s leadership and describing him as “imbecilic.”
Havi’s comments came after he found a public participation form about the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in the Daily Nation newspaper.

While he agreed that there were valid reasons for Gachagua’s impeachment, he controversially shifted the focus, insisting that it should be Sakaja facing removal instead.

That notwithstanding, a new reality beckons for Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as he faces a historic impeachment motion with an unprecedented 291 MPs supporting the bid.
