NTV, an affiliate of the Nation Media Group has tonight continued with the Lord’s work when it exclusively slammed the Directorate of Criminal Investigation over what has emerged to be a shady investigation inregards to the Mukuru Kwa Njenga killings that has seen tens of dead and rotten bodies retrieved.

During its 9 pm news bulletins on July 16, NTV exclusively reported that it has toured and interviewed all police stations across the Eastlands area of Nairobi with an aim of getting to know whether there are OB records that can be matched to the 42 bodies which prime suspect allegedly confessed of Killing.

As though that wasn’t enough, NTV via its Investigative unit travelled all the way to Kakamega where it sought to know more about Collins Jomaisi Khalisia who reportedly murdered 42 women, only to be shocked after relatives claimed that they don’t have such a relative and that the names indicated were incorrect.

Back to Nairobi’s Mukuru Kwa Njenga, NTV did a thorough work of interviewing a dozen of residents with an aim of attempting to find out whether Collins Jomaisi Khalisia had neighbours, an exercise that ended in ultimate shock after all interviewers said they have never came across such a person.

Back in court, Defence lawyer John Maina Ndegwa has asserted that his client was subjected to extreme forms of torture, compelling him to confess to crimes he vehemently denies.

Speaking before the Makadara Law Courts, Ndegwa pleaded for urgent medical care for Khalusha, highlighting the urgent need for attention due to his alleged maltreatment while in custody. “My client is in dire need of urgent medical attention,” he declared.

The attorney dismissed the notion that Khalusha could be behind such brutal acts, labelling the confession “laughable” and “alien” to his client’s character.

Ndegwa’s impassioned plea painted a chilling picture of Khalusha’s ordeal, claiming he has endured “horrendous inhuman mistreatment” during his time in custody, raising serious concerns about the methods employed during the interrogation process.
